Abridged war

Ojk so littleKuriboh took a series and took a piss of it and got famous; people loled and then started being a bunch of copycats

more legends came among many many MANY failures

then they all just went oh hi! andcreated a youtube wide collaborative jk where lanipator and lilkuriboh pwn each other...(lilkuriboh had him as a phone guest on his vid but lani hung up on him when he was supposed to get on making kuriboh look like a fool..this small insulting gesture causing the big bad war of pwn videos)

and so it goes on with people coining this jk into an actual term as reference to all abridgers' desire to outdo each other.

What caught my eye was magicalflute's take on CCS and it seems she's had alot of previous practice with her lesbian movies and that other abridged series that wasn't as good.



Now she is a big influence on the abridged series i'm writing as many others have followed the overused kuriboh or net memes jk path...

What i'm looking to you guys to help me with is what is the correct way to employ sexual humour? Is it a good idea to be using sex jokes and what kinds can you use?

magicalflute-little girls, pedophiles, stalkers, masturbation, dildoes/sex toys and sex with the effects of drugs/alcohol and furries

scripts to what i have so far is below. What do you think, are the scripts good enough to not join the legions of epic fail that has plagued the abridged community so direly?

If you're trying to make another of those utterly pointless [Whatever] Abridged episodes, I would personally advise you to stop.

And preferably go swallow arsenic, but I'll understand if you skip that step.

I looked over your scripts...if you can even call those scripts.

I can't find anything humorous about them. At all. Fuck, those things aren't even coherent.

As for sexual humor, the only way I've seen it succeed is for it to be subtle. And/or pointedly ignored.

its not coherent to you mostly because you're only reading the dialogue...ever watched tv with a blind fold? thats wat ur doing when reading my script.

If you look you will see a series characters (youtube video ID)/links they will take you to a youtube video-refer to the stop-start time to see which part of that vid is part of the abridged episode.

sexual humour as demonstrated on the attached vid seems to work fine with being unexpectedly blatant.

humour in general seems to work from the basis of being unpredictable.

So you don't like abridged series-meh baaawing over it isn't exactly very mature.
