Well this just occur to me, there are no topics that deals with anime movies. Isn't that crazy? How can a site like Fakku don't have any suggestions for anime movies? Anyhow, I guess I gotta start it. Here a few anime movies that I have found very good.

Already said but Sword of the Stranger is probably the best anime movie of all time in my opinion. Haruhi and eva movies close behind. Akira is an awesome classic as well.

The films of Satoshi Kon (Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers, Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, etc)
Studio Ghibli films and shorts
OVAs by Gainax from their early era (Gunbuster and Diebuster)
The short film collections of Studio 4 degrees C
Though not anime, short films from graduates of the French animation school Gobelins are amazing.
