Prince Kalel Albus (Hanae Natsuki) is blinded by hatred and revenge. A revolution has stripped him of both his parents and his humanity, and sets him off on a journey to avenge his parents and himself. However, upon taking to the skies and the floating islands that grace it, he finds not revenge, but compassion, friendship, and love. It’s all thanks to a girl called Claire (Yuki Aoi), who happens to be the symbol of the very revolution he hates. In a story of aerial combat, the good and bad of romance, and transformation of the heart, Prince Kalel will find that what he was looking for wasn’t revenge, but forgiveness.

Arguably one of my most anticipated new shows. There's hardly any anime that has planes and dogfights, so I am really looking forward to this one. Epic aerial combat and a side of romance, and even a Ghibli vibe, what's not to like?
Pretty good first episode, everything I was expecting and more. My only concern was that it felt a bit rushed, but understandable seeing as how they only have 12 episodes.
Watched the first episode last night, main girl is fucking adorable. Seems like they're forcing the romance really fast though.
Spoiler:
The fucking scene in the water where they looked like they were about to kiss and then he hugged her? That was kinda awkward and almost creepy, considering they just met like 20 minutes ago.
if toaru hikuushi e no koiuta mixed with how i met your mother (just for fun).
