Why do translators not notice these things? I mean if they translate it out to 'dodge' but it clearly isn't that, why do they put that anways?

Obviously you didn't notice that he was talking crazy in the manga itself.
See the guy was wondering why he said that too, because he obviously blocked not dodged. The other guy obviously doesn't know what the word means you shouldn't be so quick to judge translators. Translators already spend most of time not translating words for no reason at all or because it's "too hard" to make silly mistakes like that.

I dislike many translators most are to lazy to do a lot of the finishing touches; and I absolutely hate when they leave things un-translated.
For instance I recently picked up One Piece and I had to go from a good translator who translated everything; and posted great translations that read perfectly. To one who translated about half of the words, and whose sentence structure was horrible.
Chop it up to lazyness on their part I suppose.

Err be glad that they are translating it at all instead of dropping it?
They are doing it for free anyway so you cant exactly expect a high quality of checking.
