Saw this a while ago. I'd say this is gonna be a monthly manga release assuming the releases are consistent.

Edit 8/13/2011: Wow, has it really been two years since I started reading this manga? And this thread hasn't had a single reply since then.

Bump, because you asked so nicely. I would just like to say I hope this series doesn't go on forever like some other shounens that I have been asked to stop banging on about.

Also, do you think Yukio's gonna have demon powers?

It is possible Yukio might get powers of some form. To what extent is questionable. He may get the power to shoot bullets covered in Blue Flames.

The next chapter should be out this month so we'll see if anything comes up. My money is on Yukio NOT getting any powers though. It's not impossible for Yukio to get powers but it just sorta feels like the right way to go. I mean he could still get a semblance of powers sure but we would have to see from here.

That series was so fucking bad ass... so sad the anime ended... maybe they'll have a season 2? (I hope to God they do... the manga's not enough for me...)

So I relized that vol. 4 just came out and I just bought vol. 3, god I am so behind.

Sadly there won't be a season two. This is one of those cases where the anime was fated to end early.

Maybe if we make Ao no Exorcist as a manga to be the most popular manga since Fullmetal Alchemist then we may see a reboot or something, but for now we will have to do with the 25 episodes that we were given.

*sigh* Ao no Exorcist IS as good as FMA... Heck, it at least deserves a place alongside Naruto, Bleach and OP in the popularity charts...

I kept attempting to type up a long rebuttal to you but let me keep it simple here.

I said that Ao no Exorcist would have to be as POPULAR as FMA, I never said anything about it having to be as good as it. I will admit that Exorcist is lacking in qualities that made FMA such a success in the first place. While I would agree that it deserves to be up there with all those other manga's in the popularity charts, I would also rebuttal that being popular does not necessarily mean that work in question is good.

Edit: So I just realized that my old calculations regarding page count to episode adaptation was off. By one episode. Chapters 28 and 29 would have become one whole episode due to their lengths. Well, technically I was right anyways. My assumption was that each chapter had enough material to be adapted into an episode. So far, 40 or so pages is enough for one episode so it seemed. But it's not like I made an equation, I was just going by simple logic :P.

And now I wait another month for a new chapter.

Hey two chapters in a few days is pretty good, just hope we don't have to wait two months now for a new chapter -_-.

So... Yukio is showing signs of having demonic blood. In what form is still unknown but judging by Yukios character anyways, he will most likely end up with heightened sight and will be able to shoot from far distances without a scope. /Speculation.

Seems very generic shounenish.
I do absolutely love the opening song for the anime though.
