You know, I love doing this hate/dislike thing in here, it's because I don't buy this whole "love, love, love, love and ONLY love" sensation, because in everything, ABSOLUTLY everything must be something even the most ridiculous thing you muts hate about the thing you love the most, nothing it's perfect and only people who can't properly judge something say: "uhm...eh...well, there is nothing I dislike about anime, I fuckin' luv everything, even the Deus Ex Machina-esque ending I waited for more than 50 episodes and I luv every character even the porly portrained and without proper personality".
Ok, I'm getting a bit trolling, thats not supouse to be the point, but really, take a moment to think in your awenser and tell me what archetype of character in manga/anime you find the most annoying and hateful. (Also please, not neccesary, but if you dont mind would you post a pic of the character that made you hate the archetype, I would be very greatful because I don't know much about anime, throw me a freakin' bone here)

I personally completely support this thread. Sometimes there are some archetypes that just piss me off. Tsunderes, for example, are incredibly overused and so I find them annoying if they aren't unique in any way. Other honorable mentions is the archetypal hero and the cool guy.
Anyone who thinks otherwise should watch Girlchan in Paradise by EgoRaptor. Not only is it hilarious, but it enlightens all anime fans.

there are many archetypes that I dislike, but I'll pick only two, starting with ummm, the shonen jump hero, damn all pure hearted, and not killing a fly and stupid, I hate that character example: Naruto.
I also dislike the naive girls, like that girl in hanasaku iroha, Nako Oshimizu, she´s hot and I woul claim her as a waifu, but the character can annoy me as much as Miyuki or Mikuru does.

I hate typical Shounen characters like Naruto, Goku, Luffy, etc. You know those guys that like to spout love, peace, friendship bullshit to their enemies while fighting. WTF?
Just imagine, your enemy is right there in front of you with a weapon on hand and is determined to do anything to kill you while you stand over there saying bullshit stuff like,
1. 'Peace is the way.'
2. 'Let's be friends.'
3. 'Make love not war.'
4. 'I love you, don't hurt me'.
5. 'I'm a fag'.
In a fight, it's usually killed or be killed. One or two fights were you let your enemy get away is probably alright but when you keep on letting them live whilst they keep on attacking you then you must be really stupid.
That's why I like Berserk. Less talk, more action.

Love triangles, when there is a group of three characters who's been friends for the longest time but there is a gender imbalance(usually 2males 1female) and both of the guys end up liking the girl but she can only have one of them and it leaves the other torn in the heart.

Tsunderes are overrated (not trying to sound like a joyless hipster) and I don't know why so many people love that archetype, maybe because some people wish to be toyed...sad...

I hate the big-boobed sex symbol. Nearly every series has one (at least one; Bleach has, like, four), and they're in the series just to get more fans. It's pandering, and it's not even intelligent pandering. It's the bare bones way of getting fans. Perfect example - High School of the Dead. Would anyone have read or watched that series if all the chicks had B cups? (If they were all lolis, the series might have been even more popular.)

I hate idiotic male harem protagonists. They have absolutely no redeeming value and rely on the girls to do everything for them. I would love a story if the protagonist was badass and all harem members were badass, but in the end I'm still a sucker for a single couple.

Bleach is a great example of this. The legs of the girls will sometimes look like two chicken legs stuck together, with nothing between them. I don't care about seeing panties, but they should use a different angle instead of making skirts impervious to gravity or wind.
