In the Yu Yu Hakusho manga, a single fight typically lasts one chapter, maybe two.
In Bleach, a single fight lasts one volume, maybe two. But it's kind of hard to tell, because there's never just one fight going on at a time. In a chapter, we got a few pages about one fight and then a few pages about a second fight and sometimes even a few pages about a third fight.
It's bullshit, and I'm actually hoping that Kubo doesn't make another manga after Bleach ends. When Naruto ends, I want Kishimoto to come up with something new. When One Piece ends, I want Oda to come up with something new. But when Bleach ends, I want Kubo to retire or start working in an office or something. This shit is just bad.
