Knew that Quincy were coming back, but sorta figured the hollow mask thing was an Arrancar....Kubo be trollin again. Wonder where this is headed now.

What gave you the hint that the Quincy were coming back? Or was it from just that last chapter?

First chapter of the new arc, said that the hollows were being completely wiped out, only thing capable of doing that would be a Quincy, stated way back in the very first arc of the series that Quincy killed hollows completely without making them be reincarnated.

Seems the thread was removed and the pictures blocked after that, sucks. Interview with Kubo, talked about plans to bring the Zero Squad into the series somehow, possibility of bringing back the Arrancar, Nel and Grimmjow being the two most likely, the idea that the Arrancar would be on the same side as the Shinigami, and thoughts of finding a way to bring Aizen back into the picture although no specification as to whether or not he would play any real role.

It'll be interesting to see Grimmjow and Nel again, and on the same side as Ichigo. =D

Eh I wouldn't mind seeing Aizen back for a bit, at least not as the trolling ass mother fucker he was before Ichigo ass raped him.

I still say that Grimmjow was meant to be the Vegeta of the group.

More like the evil guy that completely decimated everything that stood in his way when he was introduced only to get bitch slapped by the main character and started fighting on their side while retaining their badassery.

True, and I guess killing Quincy would satisfy his homicidal urges? Lol.

And that fits too, it'd be funny to see a chapter where Grimmjow bitches Ichigo out about something in the middle of a battle then Ichigo decks him and says something like "Shut up and fight!" xD

Don't really see anything like that happening, even if Grimmjow enters as an ally I think stuff like that would be to out of character for him...although Vegeta changed a great deal so...meh who knows.

Maybe he'll be enticed by a promise like "Help me kill these Quincy an then we can fight when they're all dead." type-deal. I can see him going for that.

Considering the Quincy are killing off hollows, and they just declared war on Soul Society, I don't think that's even needed. Soul Society needs to kill them because, A: The war, and B: If to many hollows are killed, it destroys the balance and then the world is fucked and will be destroyed(first arc again)

And the Arrancar....that's self explanatory. Enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Fair enough. But this is all assuming that they know where Grimmjow and Nel are... bleh. =I

I'm more interested to see Ishida's reaction to this turn of events. I know Ichigo won't care what Ishida calls himself, but Ishida will likely be torn between the fact that he is a proud Quincy, and that some of his best friends are Soul Reapers.

This is an intriguing point, but IMHO I don't think Ishida will choose a bunch of people who share his title/heritage that he doesn't really know over the people he's fought alongside all this time. In fact, I can see him using his "pride of the Quincy" speech to tell these people how they're doing some really f*cked up stuff. xD

I'm more interested in seeing Ryuken's reaction. Read some stuff that was suggesting that this arc would show some more about Isshin and Ryuuken and a bit about their history, be interesting to see what Ryuken's position is on the whole thing since he was willing to help Uryu get back his Quincy powers, despite his distaste for the whole Quincy thing.
