Honestly, the chapter was rather boring apart from the bit where

Kira gets a massive hole blown in his torso, that made me lol. I won't be surprised if he actually got OHK'd. Quite frankly, the shinigami are getting stomped, I don't see much hope for them.


Perhaps this is the result of the alleged cutting-off of the manga that I've heard about on a few forums, I just hope that people don't start dropping like flies. That'll be disappointing.

Spoiler:
Although, three seated Squad 3 members were murked within two pages of each other, so I think anyone without significant plot armor is going to die in the next chapter. :I


TL;DR -
Spoiler:
Shinigami are getting buttfucked, people are dropping like flies, things are looking really bad for the Soul Society, anyone without heavy-duty plot armor had better get a tombstone ready.
