Maybe he threw away the whole substitute thing because of something like the whole Quincy situation god knows how long ago? Shinigami killing off Full Bringers?(Why did they miss Chad????)

ginjo being a shinigami is something you could expect. why did they need the fullbring... maybe ichigo has something special in his fullbring or reiatsu, something to do with his father... Also is that a bankai at the end?

No I Think that ginjo just combined his own full bring and what he stole from ichigo

Although I like Ginjo's sword. Maybe something cool to make and show off at cosplay events.
