I’m the eldest of three brothers. I’ve always been burdened with being their role model yet, (sadly) I’ve shown them nothing but the complete opposite; being such a bad influence. Anyway, this topic is not about me. This is about Brotherhood or any sort of Fraternal bonds, while not specifically about kinship (blood-relations) alone.
Been awhile since I made a thread around these parts huh. So you must be aware that this is the general section for anime and manga discussions alike, and of the things that happen here. Now, what this thread requires of the fakku population are names or groups of (at least) 2 or more anime/manga characters whom you guys believe to have so much of a tight mutual understanding of one another; in a not so romantic ("yaoi/yuri") way. Characters who get along so well that one could likely mistake them for as brothers/sisters(family) even though they’re not.
Well, this has been something that I thought of several months back. So, it just came back to me while I was watching one of my favorite shows of this year, Cross Game, a little while ago.
Sorata and Kamui,
-Sorata is this cool and cheerful (awfully friendly) dude who was responsible for like melting Kamui’s heart of ice. He dedicated himself in protecting Kamui, not merely for the purpose of fulfilling his role/prophecy but also as a friend, and an older brother figure. At least imo, he definitely had such an aura. He was like everybody's friend actually.
-Spike and Vicious (my fuckin idols), until Vicious’ ambitions got the best of him
-Brandon and Harry, until Harry became gay jealous of an old fart
-Simon and Kamina, duh!?
-Koh and Azuma, they inspired me to get this thing on the road, at long last.
-In the group department, Lagoon Company, what else? Dutch is such an incredible recruiter and so much of a caring & wise father figure to the crew. Probably the first black anime guy I ever admired. -An overall competent boss.
-Lupin III and Co., is there even anything in and out of this world that they couldn't steal?
-The entire BECK band is like a family wherein Ryusuke and Koyuki will eventually become brothers (in law). Also, Eddie and Ryusuke likewise "were"... :(
As for Sisters...
-Nana and Nana, another motherfuckin duh!? Or perhaps it was more of between a master and a pet?
-Kyoko and Kanae (Moko-san) <3 <3 <3
PS: Anyone who’d be able to tell EACH of these characters' respective (10)series will get a rep and an ounce of respect from me (as an avid anime/manga viewer/reader). -Pics should be added later on when I feel like it.
