I've been messing around "stitching" multiple frames from anime to create a full, high-res image. Not sure if this should be thrown in the Art section. Not really that special, as I didn't draw anything, I just pieced together a bunch of already drawn images.
I used
Hugin, a panorama making program, and had to tweak a bunch of options to make it work with 2D art instead of camera photos.
Some images are easy, but many of them are are actually pretty difficult because of random particles flying around (like snow), differences in brightness/color, and movement.
The pic is of Nagi from Ep.1 of
Hayate the Combat Butler (aka.
Hayate no Gotoku!)
It's a little fuzzy because the source images were from a streaming video, and the edges are some sort of minor glitch from the blending.
If you just stack the images together without blending and whatnot, it doesn't look very nice:
