Cinderella Boy.

Cinderella Boy is about Ranma and Rella, a pair of detectives who end up in a particullary strange circumstance. Ranma and Rella were attempting to escape from some gun-toating mafia guys when they got into a car crash. When Ranma comes to, Rella is nowhere around, and he believes that she died in the crash. But there's no time for thinking about that, as the mafia guys caught up to him. So as he makes his escape, he jumps out out of a window, but while he's in mid-air, a clock strikes midnight and he transformes into Rella!

Awesome hilarious show ftw, there's 13 episodes and it's a cross between Ramna 1/2 , Lupin III and Cowboy Bebop.

In case anyone is wondering, this series is based upon a work by Monkey Punch, the guy behind Lupin III.

This show is way underrated, I had alot of fun watching it when it came out. The story is interesting, there is some good humor going on and yet most people have never even heard of it. More people need to check this oldie out.
