"The mastermind Lelouch and his sister Nunnally will retain their personas from the television anime while appearing as the Mad Hatter and Alice respectively. The mysterious C.C. will have a fitting, enigmatic role as the Cheshire Cat. Suzaku will continue his royal duties as the White Knight, while Kallen will play the March Hare. Although keeping regal titles, Charles will take on the ironic role of the rather timid King of Hearts next to Marianne, who will get to showcase her power as the Queen of Hearts. it's a parody of Alice in Wonderland and Lelouch uses his Geass wastefully to save Nunnally"

The OVA was awesome. I agree that Lelouch looks awesome as the Mad Hatter. The Suzaku fight scene, man I just laughed and well saying wtf is this.

would've liked to have seen more of the anime sequences like where the characters were introduced instead of picture drama style but nevertheless, i really enjoyed lelouch's commentary... we knew it all along, but it's nice to hear from the man himself that he really loves his sister to somewhat unhealthy levels

Lelouch's commentary was pure gold this time. Really enjoy the OVA, it's fun to see characters behave here. And god, that Shirley, saved!

I'll admit I was slightly disappointed because it was more picture drama and less animation but after I got over that I thoroughly enjoyed it and I cant wait for the OVA series.

That OVA of Geass embarrassed the anime big time. Destorying an awesome anime's rep for a quick laugh is just sad.

Lol, look another one who expected something serious. The ones who is really destroying the rep is the guys who can't take a joke from an anime.

Parodies does not destroy a series.
And Nothing isdestroyed and there's still Boukoku no Akito.

I would understand if you were disappointed at the lack of animation, but here you can't just laugh it off.

and just like I said, the one taking things too seriously is you, and the one who's labeling it as "destroyed" is you yourself. This OVA itself is made to be not taken seriously. No one is mocking anyone, you yourself is the one feeling mocked

The only thing serious about this OVA is they're seriously try to make it into parody.

Looked at Carnival Phantasm, a series parodying characters from Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime. Did fans see their original story destroyed or mocked at? NO, because they understand that what they're watching are not to be taken seriously and it's just a parody.

If they were saying that the OVA was canonical then you have the justification to feel mocked or the series destroyed. But they didn't, from the get go their intentions is to make people laugh.
If you didn't laugh then that's because then it's just you, but claiming this destroyed the main series is farfetched
