Dance manga/anime?

Does it exist?
I have wondered about this for a while, as there are almost all kind of possible themes in anime and manga from bread making to ice skating, but i have never heard of/seen a manga or anime about dancing, hip hop and breaking in particular.

I for one would have loved to see a well made anime about it:)

yeah i know samurai champloo has some and a kinda urban theme, tenjho tenge also has a tiny bit. Im more thinking of a serie that has dancing as its main focus not just a 10sec sidekick over 24 episodes.

yeah, thanks for mentioning that manga and i can see why you say it got dancing. I guess i did not emphasize that i speaking of something that center around hip hop and breakdancing used in a traditional way and not as a form of martial arts. As i know there are fighting mangas out there who have characters that fight in styles reminiscing dance forms

What about Princess Tutu? It's got plenty of ballet and cutesy characters and a decent plot.

I think it counts as a dance anime and they dance like 75% of the time in each episode. Also there's a manga titled B-Boy about breakdancing.
