I started watching this in an anime club at my college, and immediately fell in love with it. I'm only on episode 4 though. Has anyone else heard of this series?

At least now I know how long it is. We're watching two episodes a week, so we'll be done before long. I'll post my feelings on the series as a whole after that.

GREAT STORY
i'd recommend it everyone if only the ending didnt sucked bigtime, i like the concept of using your blood as a weapon, the setting/background failed tho... it was almost the whole time in the prison.

I didn't like how they pushed 24 episodes worth of series into 12. Otherwise, it was really original, and a must see in my opinion. [:
