Deus x Makina

I didn't see a topic for it on the master list and I searched a few pages back, if relevant thread exists please direct me to it.

Anyway. Dues x Makina is a steampunk design manga. The art is like a mix of original and Bleach and the characters and overall feel of the manga remind me a lot of Fullmetal Alchemist, but the thing is, it's good in my opinion. It revolves around a girl, named Machina, and her robotic partner, Deus. They are part of a system that hunts down old war machines called "ClockWorkers." These are steampunk robots that are dangerous and destructive so they hunt them down and eliminate them. Now the story doesn't completely revolve around that, you'll have to read more to find out. So is there anyone here that's read it? I would love to talk to a fellow fan who has read the few chapters that exist.

Since I have such limited time on my hands, I read the entire series(the 15 chapters out, anyway) in one sitting. That made me both incredibly fulfilled and saddened at the same time. It's definitely a really good series; the right mix of action, quirkiness, and entertaining storytelling.

The steampunk genre has been really played out, or so I think, but this was a nice little breath of fresh air.

I remember this from some time ago.

For some reason the art always reminded me of Vampire Bund.
