Dragon ball z question.

During the time vegeta was out in space searching for Goku after the frieza fight. He encountered a light, in which he thought was Goku, it glowed golden and it seemed to be powerful. Was this really Goku? or was it in Vegeta's mind?

Yes, but it only occurred in the anime.

In Vegeta's mind. Because Goku would have been on Planet Yardrat at the time and too far away even if he was still travelling to there from Namek by space pod. (trip can't take that long?)

But that is the planet he learned instant transmission right? so could it be possible he was training with it?

Ehh? I watched the anime all the way through, and I don't remember that...

I don't think he went to search for Goku... only to train and keep up with him.

@jaythewolf It's 'possible'..... but an infinite times more likely that it was just Vegeta's mind.

I thought at first the rocks flying towards him in space we rocks he lifted with his own energy that he didn't notice, then gravity happened so they started to fly back at him and he thought goku was on the planet above. That big rock however I don't understand.
