FMA2 : 10

So next episode of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is out and i hate this episode like I hate it in FMA ..

Solid but the first series did it better. Hughes's death is something to end the episode with for proper impact. They also skipped the scene of his apparition/ghost waving goodbye which too added majorly to the overall baww effect.

Unless they surprise me with something and/or make proper use if Winry, I'm not too keen towards the next ep.

I believe the next episode has some stuff that wasn't in the first series. I can't remember everything, but I do recall that Rush Valley is more important than the first series made it.

I agree with Das about the first season doing it better.


Just waiting for new stuff to show up...not really digging the new series so far. I suppose that will change when the new storyline and such is put into place though.

I think Episode 10 was done very well. Although they did not add what series 1 had added (the ghost waving goodbye) lol they did stick very close with the manga on this one. For this Episode... Season 1 = More Emotion. Season 2 = More accuracy. Episode 11 is out... yet I'm posting here. Time to make a FMA2:11.

Eh, the ghost-waving-goodbye thing seems like a cheap trick used simply to strain more tears out of the already grief-stricken audience. It's the sort of cliché you see in cheesy chick movies and shows.

For me, the realistic approach of just having the living people at the funeral is much better. It's more powerful as you can relate to it more. After all, if your friend dies, his ghost isn't going to pop up and wave.

That's what gets me, too. When I first watched the series, that alone made me cry, and even when I watched the Brotherhood episode, when I knew exactly what was going to happen, I still choked up and shed a few tears.

Oh why does he always have to die I loved this episode I mean don't get me wrong Huges is my favorite character, but I feel as if it was his destiny to die.

I have to admit both the scenes in FMA and Brotherhood where his daughter asks why there burying him because he can't get his work done get's me every time as well.
