Hello guys,
well I wanted to ask you what you think about that episode and if you could explain me what purpose it had and why it was made.
I don't know if I'm to stupid to get it, but it had some flashbacks and was related to Hohenheim but i really didn't get the meaning of it.
It would be nice if you could fill me in with what just happened there.
And yes, I know it was aired some time ago, but i found this Forum just now and i didn't really know any people i could've asked.

I guess it's just a minor filler before the father's face was shown (probably to build up some tension or whatever), and a kind of recapitulation of events so far...
Coresponding chapters in manga don't contain anything like what happened in this ep, although some flashbacks looked similar to some material from newer chapters.
