#22 Towards the Future.
Graham has a flash back where he want to become a true warrior when Celestial Being returns. 00-Raiser and Susanoo continues to fight and 00 emerges victorious when he destroys Susanoo's arms causing a system malfunction. Graham tells Setsuna to finish him off but Setsuna refuses and says he'll live to fight for the sake of living.
Back at the Ptolemaios, the rest of the crew learns Veda's location and discovers that it's located at the dark side of the moon. At the same time, Linda arrives with new equipment for the Gundams. A-Laws proceeds to pursue Celestial Being with 21 cruisers and 108 mobile suits. The Innovators, Louise go else where due to orders from Ribbons to return. Andrei tags along because of Louise. At the Ptolemaios, new equipment for the Gundam, the ship, and the 0 Gundam, refitted with a GN condenser, were being transported over the Ptolemy.
On the bridge, Sumeragi and the Meisters observe that there’s an A-LAWS fleet gathering at the point that Wang Liu Mei gave them. Both Saji and Soma are ready to participate in a battle, and Setsuna feels that they’re all fighting for the future. For Tieria, it’s to liberate mankind from the rule of the Innovators. For Allelujah, it’s so that existences such as himself and Soma don’t ever appear again in the world. For Lyle, it’s to overthrow the Federation government and defeat the Innovators. Given all this, Setsuna feels that they are changing because not changing means that they can’t face the future. With even Lasse rejoining the crew, they prepare to head towards the moon.
Elsewhere in space, Marina and the children are with the Katharon fleet. The Katharon forces have gotten word of the A-LAWS fleet, and they’re coordinating on a tactical plan with the coup faction. Unbeknownst to everyone, Ribbons is with his army of clones, Bring and Divine clones, and he’s ready to see if they or Setsuna decide the fate of mankind. Graham, still floating at Lagrange 5, considers committing seppaku, but hesitates after remembering what Setsuna said about fighting for the sake of living.
As the Meisters prepare to launch, Setsuna runs into Feldt who gives him a flower that Linda had grown. After he takes it, Feldt wonders if Marina will be angry, but Setsuna declares that he doesn’t have that kind of relationship with her. After the Meisters launch, they soon run into the first wave of A-LAWS ships and mobile suits, and although they fare pretty well against this force, three A-LAWS ships spearheads the Ptolemaios. Sumeragi has Setsuna use the Raiser Sword to take out the ships, but anti-field gas emerges from the wreckage and soon covers the entire area. This causes beam weapons to defuse and Arthur quickly takes advantage of the trap that he set by sending in his main force.
The Gundams are quickly overwhelmed, and the Ptolemaios gets barraged with missiles that can pierce GN fields. Right before an Ahead can make a direct hit on the bridge, the Ptolemaios is saved by the arrival of Katharon forces. Sumeragi notices immediately that Katharon’s weapons indicate that they had forecasted the anti-field being there, and responds by sending the Ptolemaios towards the enemy fleet. At the same time, Arthur’s forces gets attacked by Kati’s coup forces, and this wreaks havoc on the A-laws fleet. The 00 Raiser then breaks through the anti-field and destroys Arthur’s command ship.
Watching the battle from his base, Ribbons comments on how mankind likes to fight. Walking in, Regene notes that it’s Ribbons who led them to this point, but Ribbons thinks that it should have been Regene’s wish as well. Ribbons reminds Regene that he’s superior to the others and should be called the Creator, and he’s able to know Regene’s ambitions through quantum brain waves. Realizing what this means, Regene pulls out a gun and shoots Ribbons in the head. Regene declares that he will lead mankind.

My wtf was the clone army of Bring and Divines and Ribbons getting shot in the head. Well at least I know he's not dead due to the preview. 0 Gundam looks almost exactly like the RX-78-2 now... too bad Amuro is not in 00.

Figures - since when do Sunrise characters die from something as puny as a headshot ?
There was something funny in the way the fat general dude (rest in pieces whatever your name was) announced the final operation to destroy CB. Don't we like get one every 3 episodes ?
It would also seem that the more numbers A-Laws have the more of a cannon fodder they become. They were dropping like flies this ep. Even those pussies from the Kataron were able to shoot down a few !
Nice battle and corresponding music (the later part) but it was all wasted with Marina becoming spaceborn all of a sudden. Anyone mind explaining the purpose of taking an ex-princess/lousy pianist along with a bunch of kids into battle ? Back on Earth they served as meat shields but their current application eludes me (the shitty songs_and_particles ending aside)

No way in hell I'm gonna hunt for 10 sec long scenes but if I remember correctly they were giving slight hints at the end of s1 (post-Lockon). She also went "oh - Setsuna...(insert relieved smile)" at the beginning of s2 when he returned in the wasted Exia.
The poor girl probably simply wants more screentime but with her current courage-gathering pace, she's gonna need 50 more episodes to simply start a normal conversation. Still ... I just kinda discovered that I like her. She's probably the only Ptolemy crew member I'd really mind dying.

Two things: In the end of the op Sestuna is seen holding a hand with a pink skin tone, where as marina has a blue skin tone at the begining of the OP. Second, remeber how in the first season Feldt talked about how her parents were Gundam piolts, I wonder if she ends up piolting 0 Gundam in some sad attempt to help out.

But as you can see, only feldt has direct relationship with gundam, while Lasse never pilots one.
