Duh, it's what Gainax does with the popular series they produce. I don't mind it, more eyecandy for masses. Yoko's hot, which sums up my desire to read the manga and the other one based on the anime as well. In fact, Neon Genesis Evangelion anime spawned the manga/alternative-universe-manga, which is unusual since it usually goes the other way around: manga/light novels/eroges spawn anime.

i really want more of this not for the fan service but the comedy cant get enough of it
