I am weighing between me loving everything BONES produces, and my irrational hatred of Halo.
What do you guys think? Anyone interested?

Talk about milking a franchise.
The game's not that bad to play, but an anime about it? I don't think it'll do that well, but I'll watch the first episode to see what its like.

a halo anime sounds epic, i mean anything halo has put out has been just straight up awesome, why would they slack now

No BUNGIE! I am not going to fall in love with a game series just because you make an anime series to accomodate your overly fed cash cow! What's next? An actual japanese manga put into the monthly Young King Ours? I'm not going to worship a man who uses an aegis shield to protect himself but wears armor made of plastic into the field of battle!
You can tie me up in a chair and make me watch every scene of this series, I'll just start thinking of a Uwe Boll film and I'll at least feel better... or more suicidal which is bad.

I revoke what I said before. Just that fact alone makes me want to watch this JUST to see Red Vs Blue as an anime.

Not too fond of the idea, but who knows. They may surprise us all. I'll keep tabs on it, but I'm not optimistic by any means.

It seems to preclude Master Chief, so I feel it's less of a "Halo" anime then a "Haloverse" anime.

Why wouldn't this be a good thing? It's halo, it an anime. Do people just not like halo because it is popular?

Then I watched Animatrix then promptly killed the guy in my mind in six different variations. There are anime that are bad, Halo can be seen by some as being bad, so it's perfectly natural for some to think that this won't turn out so well.

Okay maybe a week after getting hopes up on the Red vs Blue thing in this Halo anime/ova/movie and now I'm back to pessimism for some odd reason.

A thing that I don't understand about this is the fact that it keeps switching from 2d to 3d. Can anyone help me understand this?
Also I'm not sure what to think of it yet. Some parts look good. I'll wait till the first few episodes to decide.
