Hatsune Miku

Back when Miku was new, I remember searching images of her. I realized right away that most of these pictures don't show the way Miku originally is and this still applies today.

Miku is as pale as snow, quite literally. Her skin tone is unique to her character and most don't use it. I guess a normal skin tone is more appealing to the eye. The people who created her did change her skin to a normal one in the Miku Append update.

Makes me think why they made her pale in the first place.

Something to do with japanese society...

Pale = Beautiful or something... I think its like youre more higher in society actually...

And Dark Skin = You work in the fields...

Luka and Miku are definitely my favorites of the bunch, though.

I dont like any of the vocaloids, they're songs are absolute crap to listen to.

Just went to a whole panel on Miku today... GOD, the English version of the vocaloid software got an UGLY mascot. Seriously, just look at the differences in the US/Japan editions of the "Sweet Ann" voice software. O_O'

I disagree, Granted there are a few songs that make me cringe but there are a lot of good Vocaloid songs!

Its not the computer thats singing.Its a synthetic voice program.The program is the one that sings.

Anyway I dont exactly like it either,but that doesnt mean I cant enjoy her pics/doujins etc ^^
Provided she doesnt speak that is.I guess thats what gags are for ^^

I was a skeptic to in the past, but after finding the right composer, it's all love from there.

Some Miku songs are admittedly kind of stupid, but it's not her fault. It's all about user input, so if the song is retarded, the composer is retarded.
