I watched this series during the time I was sick for almost 2 months its called "Welcome to the N.H.K" it s a great anime with 24 episodes I think.
It lots of stuff from otakus to gal games,drama,slight romance, ecchiness and has a weird ending but it was a awesome series so if anyone else hasn't watched it yet give it a go.
I've also been at a loss lately for any good romance/drama anime so any idea I'll check em out.

Second, couldn't you just have posted in the anime's discussion thread?
And it seems you are also looking for reccomendations. Go a few pages back in General discussion and you'll find lots of threads asking the same thing. I'm sure you'll find lots of reccomendations.

Yes NHK was....interesting. Not as good as Genshiken but still pretty funny. As for recommendation if you haven't watched ToraDora yet do so immediately ;)
