Japan. In this country there's a law that kills a portion of the young people in the order to reawaken in citizens a sense of the "value of life." It's called the National Welfare act. Upon entering elementary school all citizens undergo national welfare immunization. Once in 1000 of the syringes contains a special nano-capsule on. on a predetermined date and time the nano-capslse ruptures, killing the person something between the ages of 18 and 24. the young people learn of their fate only 24 hours before their death . The moment those scheduled to die receive the Ikigami informing them of their death, their final day begins.The story is more on the lives of the people rather than the main character. It's a good story, or else I wouldn't be doing this. The art is 'harder' than what you would normally see.
