Utsuru Sanada is a professional photographer at the age of 17, he can guess the exact 3 sizes of any girl, he can memorize anything he sees, and he can counterattack karate moves. Why? Because he has superb photographic memory called “Shutter Eye” (Shutter as in the shutter of a camera). He meets Niko Kurihara, the female protagonist, who dislikes men, is a master of martial arts, and is of course beautiful. Utsuru attempts to prove to Niko that he is not the guy she thinks he so he can take a picture of her. He starts by investigating Niko’s friend’s date, who appears to be a deceiving guy according to rumors……
This summary makes it look like another repetitive ecchi manga but that's totally not what Lock-on! is about. While it doesn't have a built-up art design, reading it remains a pleasure.

Chapter 18 was the last chapter ?_? ... He ended the manga before we could even see some romance going on ?______?.

Yeah, the piblisher should've at least allowed the author to have other chapters that would be able to let Sanada develop his feelings, romantically, towards a woman.

I can't beleive they ended this so soon. Just when the real character developement dtarted. I had good hopes for this one, I even choose Niko as a waifu.

That was a well I just started the characters major delopements...but they cancelled the series so lets have them all take a happy friendly goodbye group photo, ohh and by the way since there is no more time Niko knows she love Sanda.
Even with a few more chapters say like 5 or 6 The story could've benn nicely wrapped up instead of a your cancelled you got to wrap it up next issue.

Still, 18 is way too short, the author could have dragged it out way longer. WAs there some kind of incident or something? I dont think that it was getting too unpopular or something, did they decide to cancel the series? THat was a pretty abrupt ending, i mean, one could tell that Niko was falling in love, but all of a sudden, w/o even knowing Sanada's feelings?

I guess since Lock-On is not really popular so they decided to cancel this series. That would explain the crappy ending though :D
