K i may have not mentioned this before, or for those who don't know-I am a BIG FAN of the magical girl genre. I still hold Cardcaptors very highly on my list of magical girl anime, but right next to it and sometimes beating it is the Nanoha series
Those of you who don't know about this series, i have the sudden urge to find you and shove my foot up ur ass (& not in the nice way) for ur lack of taste. I mean c'mon Nanoha had THREE seasons!!! Thats gotta mean something.
I also try to convince people to c this when ever they mention how much they liked Cardcaptors, but i guess they never bother, or when i find someone who has seen both series they prefer CardC over Nanoha by a large margin, then i ask them if they saw the 3rd season......they say "they made a 3rd? (sometimes there amazed they made 2 AND 3 seasons)
I mean whats the deal with the lack of Nanoha support!!?? It's true that the lack of the show being out on DVD can be a big result, but still, how can u not love these girls............

when u said that its about magical girls i was like..naa not my taste but then i saw yuri(that better be the lez 1(cant tell for sure)) and fanservice....im a big fan of those so ima go give it a chance...

Oh man-- complete and total support! Nanoha is such a great show, it saddens me when I tell my buds about it and as soon as I say 'magical girl' they give me that look and they go 'uh huh, I bet it must be awesome, yeah... <___<'. But MAN, what's up with the specific audience this show gets? Is it because of the excessive NanoFate fluff? D: I mean, the show's got blood, for the love of--!
Even though I try to push people in the right direction by watching this [especially StrikerS], I still get those weird looks. ;~; But in all honesty, this is one amazing show. Give it a try if you already haven't and find out what you're missing. :)

i bought the 1st season DVD out of curiosity the other day and YESS it was soo good!! i love the fight scene on episode 11! if anyone think this is girly anime.. i think theyre pretty wrong.

Yes, i agree with you that the Nanoha series has "epic" written all over it. I like how they make it seem badass and it sometime gives you the feeling of "OMG SO much power!!!! *Shivers*" Especially MLNanoha A's Last couple episodes when Nanoha + Fate team up with Hayate +Wolkenritter to destroy the defense mechanism. Another one that made me shiver a lot from shear amazement and awe was in StrikerS, when Nanoha was beating up Tea for being too reckless in training. Since it has been a while since i saw Nanoha totally take full control of the situation and made things go her way lolz XD Of course, you can't forget the yuri stuff now can you >.> with just Nanoha + Fate, many possibilities have been created already.
