There are loads of promising new animes out there. But I searched for some "old Goldies" on a whim. As such, I stumbled upon this awesome work of the 80's. A marathon of 96 episodes, not a single one to regret, epic "vanilla"ness. While watching it, I couldn't help but think that all the present cliche slice of life scenes have been borrowed from this one, it felt more like original. And the seiyus(voice actors)...!! They were sooooo awesome..!! I've seldom seen emotions being produced so clearly and naturally...especially those cries of exasperation and stuff !!! for me, this is a HUGE point.
The story mainly revolves around a group of tenants, among them the main male lead(a college boy) and their manager(young widow) of a certain apartment named "Maison Ikkoku". Sonds cliche, right.. But there is soooo more to it
