Manga Storyline > Anime Storyline

I'm the kind of person who only pays attention to the storyline from the original manga- for example, if I'm in some sort of arguement about Bleach's story, and somebody brings up something from the Bount Arc (which was anime-only) I pay no attention to it, because it was anime only, unless the arguement is over something directly relating to, and only to, the Bount Arc.

Other example:
At the end of Rurouni Kenshin.... spoiler alert....

So if someone is talking about RuroKen universally, I will act on the Manga's storyline, as it was the original plot.

Is anyone else like this?

Also, is there a term for this? (Some people [who only watch anime and dont read manga] told me 'Being a douche'. Hahah.)

Well in those cases your talking about long running series. I haven't read much manga that are short but the anime alerted it or anything but it was probably for the best.

The term for anime added extras are called Fillers and I can agree with you that I will ignore Fillers.

*facedesk* I know about fillers, [size=10](you dare take me so lightly?!)[/h] but that wasn't what I meant.

Normally its Manga > Anime because the authors want the manga to succeed first then care about the anime and since obviously some things dont translate well to anime,they come up with shoddy alternatives to the storyline.

Dont know bout fillers since I havnt watched any anime that is that long
