Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin

Latest news, just in! According to the latest issue of Gundam Ace which got leaked, another Gundam anime project has just been green-lit. Titled Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, this anime series take place in the Universal Century through the perspective of Char Aznable, and the events of the Gundam 0079 told through mostly his eyes.

It should be noted that the ongoing OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn will continue at its normal pace. The newly announced TV series, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE will also proceed as planned and initiate airing this October. It is unknown when Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin will start airing, nor if it's a TV series or OVA.

All the 'hardcore' fanboys can shut up now, really. No reason to be hating on Gundam AGE when you got this as well.

I'll be enjoying both, obviously. I have faith in LEVEL-5's ability as scriptwriter.

Is it similar to the gn of Gundam:orgins or is it just the namesake.

Some say this is going to be a total remake of Mobile Suit Gundam but in Char's POV.

Cool... If only they will show a flash back of char's deleted affair's cute teen HAMAN!!! yeah!!! still, UC 0079 in char's point of view is a good idea... maybe more of char and lala history...
