I like where this is going. Was anyone else besides me thinking of the phrase, "Names hold power". In a fantasy context, knowing the true name of someone or something supposedly gives one complete dominion over it, so methinks that Naruto may wind up with more than one beast under his control.

I will keep this in dot points:

- Chibi Bijuu = Holy Shit so cute.
- Shukaku must be the fat kid everyone picked on.
- So is Naruto like the Sage's reincarnation or something?
- Naruto-Sasuke bromance. Perhaps this is a yaoi foreshadowing.
- This is also kind of sad since we finally found out that the tailed beasts used to
be kids and were not "monsters" since the start.
- Chibi Kyubii must really love the sage.

I only realized this now. But where the fuck is Shukaku? I mean at the beginning of the Shippuden arc he was taken out of Garra and sealed in the Gedo statue. To my knowledge he should no longer be inside Garra. So again where the fuck is he? Is he still inside the statue. Cause by the rule that the more tails they have the more powerful they are. So tobi did not use him cause of that.

I totally forgot about him as well lol I didn't notice him within the group of tailed beasts. I wonder where he's at.

Mangaka probably wanted to show off the other tailed beasts. Plus Gaara isn't dead so Shukaku doesn't have a host.

True, he does not have a host, but neither do the others. They like the Shukaku were taken out of thier hosts bodies and likewise sealed into the Gedo Statue. Yes, there hosts were brought back to life by the edo tensei, but they still had to be placed back into a body.

Also, the body they are in is technically not thier original hosts. Cause remember when Kabuto was explaining edo tensei he said you need a human sacrifice inside the edo tensei.

Though, I think that unless it is explained later in the series. Why Shukaku was not there. Then You are more than likely right that Kishimoto was just wanting to show off the other tailed beasts.
