It follows the manga pretty accurately from my standpoint, and I'm a devoted Negima manga fan. It does speed up at times but that's how animation tends to be.

Well, I'm just wondering... how many episodes will this be? If they do animate Negi vs Rakan omg that's some seriously awesome stuff.

This OAD series will only be 4 episodes, with an extra 5th episode which will animate the Yue/Collet part. There will be a movie made in 2011 aswell
