Obsession

How obsessed are you in anime/manga. I'm at the point where i'm buying DVDs off of ebay, learning Japanese,being the vice president of the anime/manga club at my school, and spending all my free time reading/watching it, or on this site.

I just finished my 100th completed anime, I have school, and in April I was on 22. If I don't experience at least 2 hours of anime related things a day, I feel heartbroken. ._.

Let's see:
I buy all the jp bluray's of the current shows.. 80 bucks for 2-3 eps.... i share the cost by ripping and sharing.
I own the first ed of some of my fav manga.. imports.
I use to import and trade to support my habit.. 99 to 06.
My daughter name is a anime character's name.. the other one my woman named so my weebness don't haunt this one.
I been to comiket five times. Two winter, three summer.
AND MORE.

Can't say that I am obsessed with either, but I do spend an hour or more a day on anime/manga.

Holy shit. lol Props to animefreak_usa. What a master. I only read manga online, buy a few that are available in my region if I really liked it. I watch anime about one episode or two of something a day.. So I guess I'm moderately enjoying the goodness :D

When I 1st got obsessed I spent every bit of money I had on buying DVDs never bothered so much with manga but dabbled not as much as I wanted. I didn't think about cost at the start either I just wanted to get every thing.

At some point I tried learning Japanese on my own with the internet but could never find a source that would teach me in the easiest way I was used to learning and thought some where might of done it but never found it I always thought of retrying and if I ever managed it I thought I should make the site that I always thought would of helped me to learn Japanese.

I'm still a bit obsessed I'm interested in creating my own manga with my friend he's mostly the story writer and I'm mostly the artist but I'm not great at creating some thing quickly I need to be inspired to get it going. Never had the big idea either to push things along (well a few but they have always been the kind of stories I love at the start and hate at the end).

If I ever get a job I've always thought of starting to get some series memorabilia like figures and stuff.

The only thing I've never thought of doing was going to Japan though which most people seem to do.

Even though I'm pretty sure animefreak wins, I have over 100 volumes of manga, I usually buy about 1 a week, and have seen more than a 100 series, so I'm not quite hardcore, but I'm not casual either.

I play visual novel AKA eroge while having a meeting with my fellow shareholders.
Nuff said.

One of my friends at my school is really into anime/manga. He has watched over 600 different series and in about 2-3 months blew $1000 of anime.

Whenever Iam into a certain series I buy the toy figures and games as well, plus if they have the manga I also get it.

I am like the in between causal and hardcore, i got my Higurashi manga stacked up and i always watch a bit of anime and play VN blah blah blah so yup

im not obsessed i just buy anime that looks good...i have only made 1 bad purchase this way so far

obsessed enough to join a website that's about a sub-genre of anime =P

Not as obsessed as I used to be. I remember when I used to plow through several volumes of several mangas a week. Now I'm lucky if I get through a couple a week. I was never much of an anime fan, though I still like to check out series that look good. Whether I finish them or not is another thing.

Obsessed enough to have watched over 300 anime, read over 100 manga and learn Japanese, and still watching anime and reading manga every day.
