As good as a Hawk Eyes vs Luffy sounds, Luffy doesn't stand a chance. You can bank on it the Marco will step in to save him. But you just got to love how Hawk Eyes acknowledges Luffy as the next generation's golden child. Too cool.

Don Flamingo is just broken. Before this chap, I believed that Don Flamingo could only control weaklings, but for him to control Diamond Jozu, who is WB's 3rd fleet division commander is just crazy. And he will become an even bigger threat in future arcs with his nearing hookup with Croc.

So many good stuff are coming that two weeks will be a hell of a wait. But when it comes, it will definitely be worth it.

This battle just keeps getting more and more exciting. I'm not even trying to guess what will happen next, so I'll be surprised when whatever it is happens.

I seriously don't understand how people can like other shonen series and not like One Piece.

Probably the art style. Even I was turned off by the art style at first, but it sure has grown on me since.

This was a good chapter. It is finally Mihawk's turn. Oooo I wanna see the fight between Zoro and Mihawk. No especially Luffy and one of the Admirals.

As of the moment, it wouldn't be much of a fight. Luffy and crew may have taken out two shichibukais but Mihawk and the Admirals are in a totally different league. They'd have to learn Haki first before even hoping to put up a semblance of a fight against those guys.

Since I jumped into One Piece midway...can anyone explain why Luffy don't stand a chance against Mihawk? I understand the admirals but...Mihawk's just a shichibukai.

Me-hawk Raped Zoro so bad in the beggining... and the fact he's a Warlord doesn't mean he's weak?

Shichibukais are not of equal strength. The government offers the title of Shichibukai to pirates who are "potentially" dangerous. Hancock was immediately offered the position after just her 1st campaign. Ace too was offered the position because he was a logia DF.

Because the position if offered based on potential and not actual strength, it makes sense that the power of one shichibukai could differ from another. Crocodile, a former shichibukai, is a logia DF who does not know how to use Haki. Moria, another Luffy victim, is getting pawned by former shichibukai Jimbei.

On the other hand, Mihawk is widely acknowledged as the world's greatest swordsman. He has gone toe to toe against Red Hair, who is probably as strong as Whitebeard. My point is don't generalize the fighting strength of the shichibukais.

Plus, it would just suck if the current Luffy would be a strong as Mihawk, who is Zorro's goal.

I think that in the next chapter, Mihawk will just test Luffy to see if he is strong enough to face the Marines and to save Ace. I think he will just fight Luffy for a bit then let Luffy go and save Ace. That is what I think. Since Luffy IS the next generation's golden Child as to what Mihawk has said.

I've been waiting for this battle. Even though I would prefer it be Zolo vs. Hawkeye for epic purposes, this works.

I'm looking forward to this much more than a different battle that is starting in a different manga.

Yeah me too. Bleach right now is getting better but I'd rather watch the One Piece fight right now. I wanna know the outcome of the war. I bet after the war, Luffy's bounty is gonna skyrocket up SO high for Impel Down and the War.

Was Mihawk just lying to himself? Seriously doubt it. Mihawk isn't the type to lie to himself. And if you know Oda, he doesn't throw out lines like this without meaning it. Expect Mihawk to go all out.

That said, Luffy wouldn't stand a chance against a serious Mihawk, or the Admirals for that matter. This is my prediction: Marco will save Luffy from Mihawk, Garp will save Luffy from the admirals.

LOL... his bounty was supposed to have gone up ..1). After beating Moria,2). again after hitting the Celestial Dragon.3). Impel Down break-in/-out.4). Aiding Whitebeard in the rescue-ing of Ace.. and finally 5). For the simple fact he is Dragon's Son.. lol

So let's say he gets a boost of 100m for moria.. 200m a pop for numbers 2-4 ... and 100m for 5.. Luffy's new bounty should be somewhere around... 1.1 Billion =)
