One Piece episode 440

Well i'm pretty surprised his treatment is already over, I was expecting it to be at least one more episode till he came out of their, glad to see things weren't dragged out too long.

Can't wait for the up-coming episodes where things will get really exciting, I just hope the animation doesn't falter too much.

It's not high quality, if you want high quality then best wait for Yibis subs, but the stream copy torrent isn't that bad, and watchable.

I thought it was kind of cool, how luffy used the food to regain his body weight like how he did.

I just can't wait for it to get to the Marineford stuff. I'm really interested in seeing how they animate it and, to be honest, I really don't like the excessively silly (even for One Piece) character designs of many of the Impel Down antagonists. I really find it hard to care about who wins out of Luffy and a gormless rhinoceros or Luffy and a farting poison man.

Not to be too hard on Impel Down, because it's not that bad, but it could also be completely removed from the storyline and the plot would still flow in more or less the same way, just like Thriller Bark. All it does is provide a way for Luffy to gather allies for Marineford, but there's any number of ways to write that into the story. The main focus of the arc, rescuing Ace, didn't materialise and so it feels kinda redundant for me.

it's important because it shows how much luffy wants to save his bro and gaining allies and it gives way so it can be silly when it gets all serious in marineford. i think the mmarineford is going to be a movie.

As cool as that would be, they'll be at Marineford in less than 10 episodes or so, and Strong World only recently came out after taking ages to create. I really hope they keep the dynamic, chaotic feel of the battle rather than spending an ep on each fight, padded out with loads of DBZ-style staring.

Yeah I too doubt it'll be made into a movie, maybe we'll get a few hour long episodes instead, I just really hope they can live up to the excitement and size of the war..

Its going to one hell of an epic fight when that actually happens.
He would need to gather up everything and maybe learn some new moves to take that guy down.
Cant wait to see it come to animation though!
