Right now I've been on my longest anime dry spell in a while. Last thing I watched that was currently airing was the second season of Kimi ni Todoke. Sad really, because I do want to watch the third season of Natsume Yuujinchou, but just can't bring myself to watch anything right now.
Anyway to get to the point, I prefer to watch one thing at a time. Moreover, I often wait for an anime to finish or be nearly finished before I start. Weekly episodes are such a pain in the ass, and I start to feel disconnected to a series if I'm limited to that time frame regardless of how intriguing the anime is. I guess that is just how bad my attention span is.
Pretty much the same as me. I always prefer to wait till the show is completed to watch them, as I can easily finish them in one or two days like that. I don't wanna watch too many shows at once as my brain will be absorbing too many different plots. One anime would be talking about rape (lol, just an example), another, would be showing some shounen fights, then another, would be some sci-fi infodumping. I can handle it, but it's just no fun to mix in so many plots into my brain like that.
Other then that, for shows like Sket Dance where the total amount of episodes are questionable, I'll mostly watch once there are quite a moderate amount of episodes released first.
