The Physics of Coloured Fireworks. Na=Sodium, Cl=Chlorine, Ca=Calcium, SR=Strontium, CU=Copper, Ba=Barium, OH is Hydrogen and Oxygen in an ionic bond called Hydroxyl. This is what makes pH go up, it is what makes lye and lime so caustic.
Pink would be a mixture of elements. I have seen real pink explosions, but the basic charge was either gas or gunpowder. Of course it was but one of the resultant colors.
After looking at your post and
this, pink explosions make sense in Gundam shows.
I'm guessing Gundam's made of are lots of titanium and aluminum. Lithium is used quite a bit in electronics and ceramics so certainly it would be in the mix. So fighting Gundam's would mix fine particles of those together and with some heat and oxidant laying around a nice pink explosion
may just happen.
In practice though I don't think such a pretty explosion is commonplace. It's much more likely the fuel that powers the Gundam will dominate the explosion leaving you with a generic fireball to watch. What fuel do Gundam's use anyways?
Although its much more likely pink explosions just look cooler on TV.
