Pokemon question: anyone ever notice they look the same

I never really saw this till now but they look the same only with different cloths and hair styles, with tiny change in eyes.

ash likes to travel with women that look alike, that or the makers really didn't want to spend too much on character designs

Why would they worry about unique character designs when they're buy making so much money?

Kids are too stupid to notice anyway.

fun fact: one of the main reasons why the director or whatever changes the main characters other than ash & pikachu is because he wants "a new eyecandy for the viewer. so that they can fall in love with a new heroine". however ash & pikachu don't change since pikachu is the flagship of the pokemon anime and you can't have pikachu without ash... unforunately

But Richie way back in the day was sooooooooooooo much better than Ash and Sparky kicks the shit out of Pikachu. I mean, just look at Sparky, he has hair for Christ's sake.

Getting back on topic, there are quite a number of characters in the Pokemon anime series, especially if we include the "guest" in each episode. Perhaps more time was spent on drawing and animating the pokemons instead of the humans?

Then they should do it equally in the future.

It makes you wonder how their mothers can give birth of so many of the twins.

Now that makes me think how loose they should be.

It's for kids. Character design doesn't really matter.
All kids want is fighting, explosions, and lasers.
