Post Anime/Manga Depression...

Just finished the Suzuka manga and now I am le sad. Anyone have a story where they felt they lost a part of their SOUL?!

So...what made you sad about finishing Suzuka?

When I finished Elfen Lied (it made me cry manly tears).
BTW I mean the manga not the anime.

When i finished suzuka, i was left sad too :P dont worry bro. Dunno how long its gonna take to make you feel normal again, but took me quite a while. I love suzuka, its my number 1 manga of all time. So far from all the loads of animes and mangas ive been watching and reading, nothing seems to be beating suzuka.

Its just such a good story and everyone ends up happy. HAPPY SAD IS CONFUSING TO MY FEELINGS.

Ah, a kindred spirit. Dude, I've felt the same exact way about Suzuka, it was really good and sad at the same time.

I seriously get post anime/manga depression after almost every series that I finish. It's just something about the fact that it is, in fact, over. It's just so sad to think about. I guess that's why we just keep on finding new series to get caught up in.

Had to take anti-depressants after Love hina.

Evangelion made me depressed for awhile, but in a good way. I hail it as the best anime ever made.

For me its when I finished Welcome to the NHK... Dam that show digged through my soul with a spoon! and made me look at my life

End of Evangelion just left a terrible taste in my mouth. Just depressing.

Also, when I watched all of Now And Then, Here And There. It was horribly depressing for me.

This wasn't Evangelion where it had giant robots and monsters. The monsters here were human. Situations like Sara's and Nabuka's happen all the time in parts of the world. That's why it was so depressing. The ending didn't make up for the injustices that the main cast suffered imo. I was definitely in a funk for a while after watching that.

Looks like I found a new anime to watch.

Felt sad after finishing GTO because it mande me laugh like nothing else and it suddenly was over :( and the same goes for Angel Densetsu---> these are manga worthy of infinite chapters not shit like naruto and bleach...
also felt sad but in a different way after Ichigo 100% and a lot more sad after I''s(had a somewhat similar RL story like that myself).

School Days depressed me, up until the ending. Then, I felt a bit of catharsis. Still, I suffered to get there.

The end of Zeta Gundam bummed me out. Anyone that's seen it should know why. I instantly cheered up when I started watching ZZ though.
