If I may add, shitty translations(subtitling) from P-Z subs; nonetheless it was rather enough for me to understand all the significant shit. (as if the plot really matters)

Personally I think theres hope for this series and the creator of this thread isnt really giving the story a chance to develop, the way i look at was this episode was good and didn't really focus as much on the fan service but incorporated more story, hopefully the next few episodes will be story based like this one. Still i mean come on how can you go wrong with suicidal ninjas and battle maidens fighting each other.

Baiscly the story as I see it so far in laymans terms:

Character List:
Two Noble sisters
Thief Warrior
Battle Maiden
Ninja

Ep1:
We start off with the run away sister, she fights bunny tits girl , gets saved by the thief. Thief goes to the nobles castle, epic battle ensues at castle. Thief convinces sister to become stronger. Noble Sister one leaves with thief. Noble Sister two decides to head out to chase after Noble Sister one, and meets dwarf. (maybe thats in the manga not sure though) Also were introduced if im correct to the battle maiden at the end of the first episode. ( ill watch it again if im wrong)

Ep2:

We find out more about the battle maiden, and we get a quick update as to how Noble sister one is doing with the thief on their journey.

Based on all that i just wrote and my anaylis of the anime vs the manga, im definatly seeing some crucical plot points left out that are included in the manga but maybe im mistaken.

Anyways thats my whole take on whats gone down so far.


P.s- Are we allowed to post links to manga scans if so i shall re-edit this post and replace with manga volumes 1-5. ( i find that the manga scans helped to somewhat better understand the series)

Well this episode was good and the part with Tomoe holding her friend (right before she dies) I'm trying to decide on if I should cry or not because usually it's rare for me to see a serious moment in a ecchi series.I would also like to read the manga as well.

Also I found out that the series is based off a warhammer 40k like game or DnD kind of game with specfic rules , and diffrent releases, so im starting to understand how the series queens blade could sort of be catering to a cult classic kind of fan base, thats been following along with the game thats been developed in japan. Well according to what i found on wiki, but if anyone finds out more about this then please feel free to tell me.

From what I know, Queen's Blade is based from a combat picture book titled Lost Worlds which features fantasy-like monster like the unicorn and dragon. I guess Queens Blade goes for a more ecchi style characters because the difference of target market and culture. I'm not sure how big Warhammer and D&D are in Japan however I have a feeling they're not as big as they are in the western countries.
