Here is a sort description (brought to you by wikipedia):

Saki Miyanaga, a high school first-year student, hates mahjong because her family would always force her to play it and punish her regardless of the outcome of the game. Due to this, she learned how to keep her score at zero, neither winning nor losing, a skill said to be more difficult than actually consistently winning. However, her friend KyÅtarÅ from middle school, completely unaware of such circumstances, convinces her to visit the school's small mahjong club upon entering into high school. After the club discovers her ability, they recruit her permanently and convince her to win instead of breaking even. She easily does so with her skill and discovers a new love for mahjong. This leads the team to enter the prefecture's high school mahjong tournament with the goal of reaching the national high school competition.

So far I love the manga. Its like Hikaru no Go, solely because its about a young person who either dislikes or hates a certain game and ends up being great at it.

The manga is interesting and makes me want to read more.

The scanlators didn't want the manga to be uploaded to free-read-online sites. The scanlators are "NULL" the rest of the chapters (56+) are done by different scanlators.

Well roughly reading and getting feedback from friends, you will know about mahjong here, just that if you hope to learn about mahjong, you wont learn anything here and just accept anything the lead pulls out like the winnning combination as a win.

Its a nice read to introduce mahjong and slice of life together.
I would recommend picking up/reading Akagi.Its not Moe but you will atleast understand alot more about Mahjong.

isnt that how most manga above curtain sports or games usually go? Like Eyeshield 21... its out there but its meant for kids and maybe get some people interested.

I've also noticed lately thats theres quite a bit of manga that have been doing this skip thing.
