Saki Episode 12

Lots of Yuri moments in this episode...

At the start of the episode we have a flashback of the President or Ueno-san with Mihoko after a mahjong battle. It seems that the Hisa was a strong opponent that Mihoko have to use special eye. Hisa who saw Mihoko's eye complimented on having such a pretty eye.




Back to the present time, we have some Yuri moment of Mihoko trying to calm down Bundo who felt guilty for losing a lot of points in the mahjong battle.



Next we have a scene with the Ryumonbuchi team. I'm really starting to like Touka, especially her rotating/wiggling ahoge. Koromo came in crying with the broken Etopen but was restored by Hageyoshi who appears out of nowhere. Kinda makes me wonder the Japanese butlers in anime are actually a part of a modern day ninja organization...



Of course our beloved loli later met with Nonoka who gives her back the fixed Etopen. Too bad for Koromo she was interrupted before able to ask Nodoka to be her friend.



Back to the mahjong battle after a bit of fanservice scene, seems like everyone is either playing safe or goes for the defensive considering they gotten the idea that Hisa plays on risky/bad waits. Hisa of course knew of this and decided to intimidate her opponents even going for an empty riichi. She still get scores for tenpai though.




Match ended up with the president getting Kiyosumi on the first place. Also it seems like the president is well liked by both her opponents and friends. Next we will be seeing Nodoka's battle which will be pretty exciting considering her opponents, Touka from Ryuumonbuchi, Momoko from Tsuruga and that other girl from Kazekoshi.

Man, I'm still on episode 2. I really need to carry on watching this series; it's a lot of fun. I've also stopped playing Mahjong recently, but that's a different story.

One thing I've noticed, the girl with reddish hair in the image subtitled with "Time for the mysterious girl to enter the stage" looks a hell of a lot like Rin from Katawa Shoujo; even the clothes.

I didn't even notice the banana thing, lol.

The loli is no longer crying, but didn't get to make a new friend. :(

You should, especially when the tournament starts. The battle are pretty intense and Gonzo did a good job in conveying the atmosphere.


Didn't realize that until you mentioned it, lol. I'm yet to play the demo but I watched the game preview in Youtube...


I kinda pity her. she must be raging inside and let it out in her fight against Saki and the other team.

Again (for the second week in a row), tsujoi already summed up what I would have wanted to say. Poor Koromo... :( (the timing was bad)

Apart from that, at least we got to see a glimpse of her not so distant past. Makes a lot of sense as to why she's been longing for friends. (I'll be Koromo's friend, that's for sure) :D

On a side note, Kyoutaro's delusions about Nodoka is kinda getting worse as of late. Make sure you keep your guards up Temcor. Your waifu may be in peril... :lol:
