Saki episode 2

Well, I haven't seen any topic discussing episode 2 of the anime so I'm gonna open a topic for it.
Well on the second episode, Saki is asked by the club chairman to play and win the game instead of getting +/- 0 points. Saki played with a lower score which is what the club chairman wants her to think. Saki finished the game with Rishan Kaihou which is a Tsumo after a Kan/Kang.
Ok like the other character said, Saki seems to have superhuman luck in getting her tiles and sometimes it seems like she already knows the tile that she picked up would be a winning tile. She didn't even look at the tile to annouce tsumo which is a little bit too much for me. I'm not sure if Akagi also seems to have luck like Saki. At least we get to see Nodoka bath scene wheeee.
Announcing a richi. No, a double riichi. Oh man talk about being lucky, being able to Tsumo on the start of the game...
A double riichi, tsumo and ippatsu! Ippatsu is winning after announcing a riichi, yeah you have to be lucky to get an ippatsu.
Rinshan kaihou winning after a kan/kang with suu ankou combinations(4 meld of quads and tri) In Saki's case triple of 4 man, triple of 2 shou, triple of 8 shou and a pair of 8 ton.
I'm still learning the mahjong terms. So if there are terms that I mistakenly explained I hope someone could correct me.
Also thanks to playing Fullani I know understand a little bit more about Japanese Mahjong. I highly suggest this game for people who are interested in learning and playing Japanese Mahjong.

Even though I played fullAni, I still suck at Mahjongg, since I rely too much on magic tiles when playing FullAni... :roll:

After Comiket 76, I may start on my plans to have mahjong session for all interested Fakku members. :D
For some of the expert players, they don't even have to look at the tile they have drawn; all they need is to feel the engravings. I believe Saki would be one of these expert players.
And I am raging about the mist surrouding Nodoka's tits during her bath scene. Hopefully, the DVD edition will feature some uncensored footage. :D

I still don't know anything about Mahjong, but this anime is still very entertaining. A quarter of that entertainment is just watching Nodoka's tits bounce. <3 blushing Nodoka. And Saki still reminds me of a grown up Yoshika Miyafuji from Strike Witches.

I've read a bit about mahjong before watching this episode. I've watched it, and I remembered the time when thinking "I speak Polish, I'll be ok." I went to Slovakia.
This anime is good, but I guess I'll stick to playing Go ;) .

Why not try free battle, you play with no magic tiles. It would make a good practice. I hope there will be tentacles effect.

I would be interested, give me time though I need to learn more. Oh and good point there on the engravings, I'm yet to touch a real Mahjong tiles. Oh hope you get some Saki doujins at Comiket :D

Reading and actually playing are two different thing. You should try playing it after that its up to you whether Mahjong is for you or not.
