Reading about mecha musume in the new Meach/Giant Robot Section, remembered me on Mave-chan.

Synopsis
Rei, visting a Stratos 4 Anime-Convention suddenly finds himself in another World,
together with mecha musume Forms of the Yukikaze Planes.
Too bad there is only 1 OVA.

i found this one a bit strange, since only one episode doesn't really explain much, probably should have watched yukikaze as well
