Should I read To Love Ru?

Hey guys. Should I read To Love Ru? I keep hearing good things about it.

How long is it plus To Love Ru Darkness?

Also, scanlation versus localization of manga?

I recommend it if you like ecchi and comedy, also it's 162 chapters (not including side-chapters) for the first part, and To Love-Ru Darkness is at 20 chapters, and it's updated monthly.

Also I don't know about localization.

I'd definitely recommend it. To Love Ru and To Love Ru Darkness are both huge favorites of mine. Just a heads up, if you haven't seen the anime, watch it, and make sure to watch OVA 5. As for TLRD, most awesome border-H manga I know. That anime is going to end up censored more than Seikon no Qwaser was.

Original series is a must-read if you enjoy ecchi/romance-comedy. Slight filler-ish chapter format, and no deep storyline, but that doesn't detract from the awesomeness :D
Also the sequel, Darkness, is a LOT more ecchi [shows nipples, way more panty shots, shower scenes, etc]

*EDIT* I haven't read the localization, but the translations are just fine.

I didn't really like it to be honest. Just my opinion.

Momo no ecchi

Made me laugh a few times. The characters are stock and the plot blows, but it's funny. If your looking for comedy/ ecchi it is worth the read.

I already said I read it all because I heard the anime for Darkness was coming, to me To Love-Ru is an average love comedy. Darkness is cool because of all the nude stuff but it was a pain to go through the original series.

This. If you watch the animes, watch the uncensored versions unless you like seeing oddly placed light rays and stuff. I stopped watching the 2nd anime season because of the censoring. Don't expect any strong personalities or deep stories. Its fairly light, comedic, and full of ecchi. TLRD has a bit stronger story but is the same thing with more nipples. 182 chapters is TLR+TLRD. Didn't know it got licensed so I can't comment on a localization.

If you like ecchi, harem, and rom-coms then the answer is s definite "Yes". Outside of that, you're not going to enjoy too much. And I don't think the manga has been licensed anywhere. Only the anime has been licensed.
