Things You Enjoy Seeing In Animes/Mangas/Games

I Find It Funny Whenever I See Pocky Sticks In Animes. Mainly In The Onegai Teacher Series. Its Like Their Trademark Or Something.

chibis and nosebleeds. XD chibis 'cause they're cute and nosebleeds because they're funny ^_^

Lots. There are many things which i look out for in a manga, some which ultimately become targets which become my favourites.

1) Storyline

I enjoy original storylines, those that just spell the word "NEW" to my eyes. Though some eventually will follow the clockwork , the author deserves creadit for coming up with such interesting storylines tha may end up having followers.

2)Comedy

I love laughing. Most of which i find in mangas/animes. The ability to constantly make the readers laugh for me in one of the most important aspects that i look out for in a manga.

3)Gore/blood/horror

Call me sick, but i enjoy such stuff. By the recent years, i've noticed myelf demanding for more violence and gore. Mangas that focuses in war/killings etc are expected to excel in gore and bloodshed which in turn will get my attention.

Such animes which are shining examples are Umineko no naku koro ni, The higurashi series and Kara no kyoukai. Amazing animes indeed.

4)Ecchi

Fanservice! Which (healthy)man can resist the temptation of reading such mangas??

5)The "Wow" factor

Mangas' that have the ability to make people go "WOW"

Such mangas are rare, considering just how many mangas that are followers of previous tittles old or new. The ability make people deem the manga being speacial and note worthy is certain an achievement any author should feel proud of.

"dere" part of tsundere. I really love to see them, especially Kagami. Also liked the one from the end of Kara no Kyoukai ch.1.

comedy. Laugh is good. Laugh is good. Laugh is good. From random stuff from Lucky Star to satire in Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, I love to laugh on comedies.

Characters who smoke. For some reason, they're always the awsomest ones. Does that say something? I don't know, but it amuse me.

I must say that I'm quite a sucker for happy endings aswell. Love sad stories, but I want it to end as I'd like it to.

A shy, quiet and flat-chested girl for nosebleed also floats my boat.

I love it when a character I love gets killed, or when the main character loses someone close to him and exclaims in rage and sorrow. OH! and example you say? Well I'll spoiler it.

Also emotional moments, and moments of extreme insanity when the main kills everything in rage and cries.

blood and violence (preferably exceedingly gory kills like in prototype....body splitting is nice)
characters with well...character. nothing says i hate this game like a mild mannered main character)
choice...alot of interactive features are appealing
ability to get creative with the way you kill things and take their stuff

Anime
MORE ACTION LESS FILLER

When a main character who was keeping their powers a secret from friends is forced to reveal them in order to save his/her friends. Love it every time.

A few examples:

Kaze no Stigma
Negima! (sort of...)

Also, whenever you can see a main character's training and hard work pay off in a way that makes a previously difficult/impossible task a piece of cake.

...Actually, a lot of anime/manga/games.

Protagonist getting it on with the females.

Personally, I like watching characters casually eat or when they train. Yeah sure, the climax is exciting and the fights are cool but I'm most interested when there's down time. This is probably why I love slice of life animes.

A good story is the main key to success (=entertain me).
I also enjoy good art (chara design, backgrounds, etc).

That's basically it (the most important stuff).

1. A female lead character who isn't just there for Fan Service.
2. An original Story Line.
3. Good art style/Character design.
4. Any Anime Directed by Makoto Shinkai.

1 strong emotions

5 IT ISN'T LIKE REALITY (i'd rather be in the 2D world)

I like to see Drama, Romance and recently Horror (Well more of creepy, like Higurashi creepy).

And in that line, music and visuals are important, so when I see an anime with both being exceptional i would instantly recommend it

In that note, True Tears, Higurashi no naku koro ni (well the Gory scenes anyway), Asura Cryin' and Toradora! :P

I enjoy seeing nature and how it is depicted in anime. And sometimes I do enjoy pausing an anime while watching and observing the background. The more detailed and funny the background is (e.g. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Pani Poni Dash), the more I enjoy it.

The same with manga with regards to backgrounds. I sometimes like to see some focus and detail on the background (e.g. Kio Shimoku's works), it makes the manga more lively.

hmm...good characters, good storyline, and art that goes well with the story...that's it.

Probably the older sister from Ichigo Mashimaro could be an example to some extent (for both smokes and quiet girls for nosebleeds)) and some guys from Black Lagoon look cool (but not Rock)))
