This 2-part OVA was the product of Production I.G and BMG Japan's collaboration to commemorate both companies' 20th anniversaries, two years ago (2007).
It's purely a love story between an ordinary girl and an average boy, that's very realistic in nature; apart from the one special donkey, which may have been brought to them by mistake but was the one that helped them in making everything so right (I freakin' love its irony). What else is there for me to say? It even won an award, although in Korea (just click on the link above to read about it in detail). Not only is this for the hopeless romantics out there, this is a MUST SEE for everyone. I cannot seem to find the right words to describe it but I guess, "AWESOME" is more than enough to suffice. :D (I really should have made a thread for this a long time ago!) Very fun, entertaining, and romantic of course.
Fact: This could have easily slipped under my radar if not for LIVE EVIL subs, about one and a half year ago. I send my thanks to them! :D
