Wanting Your Opinion of AWESOME anime character designs

Hi All.

I've been asked by my college to design a mascot for our college newsletter.

I'd like to design a very kickass character. But I am afraid that my opinion of a "kickass" looking character probably lame.

Can you guys suggest GREAT CHARACTER DESIGNS? I don't care of they are from anime, manga or hentai. I have seen some avatars here,for example, that have awesome hair and fashion and cute face. The whole package!

I just need somewhere to start. Please help me!! :oops: :) :oops:

Well it depends on what u want. Wat type of character would u like? Would u like a soldier,swordsman u know what I mean give me a basic idea
