warner bros wants to make bleach movie

oh hell no warner bro. is thinking of making a bleach film, no lets not go there lets not rape and fuck up another great anime, hopefully hollywood will not go ahead and ruin bleach like dragon ball or avatar:the last airbender.

All i see happening is that the manga and anime industry is becoming more widely publicised to the Western markets. This is a good thing.

that may be true and it is a great thing that the western market is more accepting but name a film adaptation of an anime that our western film industry has yet to ruin, now if the scripts for these films were close to the original material and if the characters of the films were more like the characters they are supposed to be portraying they would be more widely accepted and they would make more money, but the whole point of this is that as a fan i want to see our film industry do anime and manga justice i wanna see a film that as a fan i would be proud of watching.

I have a feeling this won't get very far, like their supposed Death Note movie.

Dragonball sucked so much ass, Prince of Persia felt subpar, Lara Croft wasn't spectacular, Street Fighter sucked ass, KOF sucked ass as well, Priest was critically panned and finally, Super Mario Brothers sucked so bad that the lead actor openly expressed his regret several times. Seeing all that, I seriously doubt that Hollywood can produce good anime movies seeing as how they can't come up with good anime/manga/manhwa movies.

This is going to suck. The special effects will end up being expensive but still crap, and Bleach isn't even that great of a anime/manga. Plus i don't see how the whole arc structure will translate to film

All I saw from the Opening post was nerdrage.

If a film does come out, I'll be watching it. I'll pass my judgement on whether it's shit or not when I see it, not just because I'm a nostalgiafag.

But why Bleach? Its so fictional like Dragonball it might end up crap. Why not HSof the Dead, Soul Eater, HSD:Kenichi or something or they are not fond of underrated manga/anime and just focus on the overrated stuffs?
